Sunrider Partners with Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Expansion Project
Sunrider International is pleased to announce its commitment to support the construction of Torrance Memorial Medical Center’s new Main Tower through a donation of $2.5 million. The hospital’s beautiful, new Main Tower will open in November 2014 and will prominently feature the Drs. Oi-Lin and Tei-Fu Chen Family Surgical Center, named for Sunrider’s founders. The Chen Family Surgical Center will be one of the most advanced surgical facilities in the region, complete with state-of-the-art medical technology.

In response to Sunrider’s support for the new hospital tower, Craig Leach, the President and CEO of Torrance Memorial Medical Center, said, “We are extremely appreciative of the Chen Family’s generosity. This gift supports our mission to provide high-quality surgical services for generations of South Bay residents.”

“It is an honor for our Sunrider family to be involved with the exceptional work of Torrance Memorial Medical Center,” said Dr. Oi-Lin Chen, President of Sunrider International. "Through our partnership with Torrance Memorial, we aim to support the health care needs of our region. Sunrider's primary objective of improving the lives of people in our community and around the world is aligned with Torrance Memorial's noteworthy mission. We are excited for our new collaboration with Torrance Memorial and we look forward to a continued and fruitful relationship.”
