Dr. Chen Holds Special IBO Meetings in Bangkok, Thailand
Dr. Tei-Fu Chen traveled to Bangkok, Thailand, recently to conduct two business meetings on April 12, 2014, held at the Sunrider Thailand office. The first meeting was attended by IBO Business Leaders, and the second by IBOs and guests. During the course of the meetings, Dr. Chen provided expert advice on how IBOs can boost their business and explained how anyone can achieve big success by following Sunrider’s easy-to-follow business plan.


Dr. Chen detailed how Sunrider is much more than just a direct selling or MLM company. In addition to providing a franchise business opportunity in some countries, Sunrider owns and operates its own manufacturing plants, complete with research & development facilities and labs. And Sunrider’s owners, the Chen family, are experts in the fields of health, nutrition, and science.


A key message Dr. Chen delivered was that “rather than just selling products, we are selling an opportunity to make money.” He gave McDonald’s as an example: “What McDonald’s sells is a money-making opportunity, not hamburgers. Its franchisees are the ones selling hamburgers. IBOs should approach their business in a similar manner by selling the opportunity, not just the products.” And he made it clear that when Sunrider® products are discussed, they should be promoted not for curing diseases, but rather for helping people improve and maintain their general health and well-being.


Dr. Chen also gave advice on how to respond to people who claim Sunrider® products are too expensive: “Don’t worry about this situation. Try to help these people make more money by offering them our business opportunity. As IBOs, these people can then earn money to buy our products.” During his PowerPoint presentation he illustrated how the Sunrider business opportunity provides the vehicle to transform people’s lives, including “enjoying a better lifestyle, affording higher education for your children, buying a new car, relieving financial stress, and spending more time with family.”*


Dr. Chen also talked about Sunrider’s business plan. Unlike many other companies, “Sunrider’s plan is not a numbers game with deceptive, complicated schemes, and there are no ‘hard sales tactics’ or gimmicks.” He explained how Sunrider’s straightforward plan is simple to follow and replete with bonuses, profit sharing, and travel incentives, as well as great earning potential: “Sunrider is here to offer IBOs an opportunity to make their dreams come true. You just have to follow our business plan to achieve financial freedom and a better lifestyle.”*
