The annual event was held November 28, 2010, at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Sunny Bay, and aims to spread awareness and raise funds to help children and mothers in the fight against AIDS.

The Adopt-A-School Program matches private sector companies with local public schools to create valuable and enriching programs that bring all elements of the community together. Sunrider support has included participation in Earth Day campus cleanup, equipment donations, providing internships, career counseling, and the use of its facilities for teacher training seminars.

During a special ceremony, Sunrider received an AVA Silver Award for achieving Grade “A” status for excellence in food hygiene, sanitation, and processing for ten consecutive years, 2000–2009. A Certificate of Commendation was also awarded for achieving Grade “A” status during the two-year period of 2008–2009.

The First World Congress on Sub-health and the Establishment of the Specialty Committee on Sub-health under the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) was held on January 14, 2006 at the People’s Hall in Beijing, China. As an influential globalization proponent of the use of Chinese herbs, Dr. Tei-Fu Chen was elected to serve as the first Vice Chairman of the Specialty Committee on Sub-health under WFCMS. As the newly elected Vice Chairman, Dr. Chen had the honor of serving as the keynote speaker, and Sunrider was awarded a commemorative trophy for being the sole sponsor of the establishment of the Specialty Committee on Sub-health.
