Grand Openings of Authorized Stores in Singapore and Malaysia

March 16 & 17, 2009 marked important milestones in the history of Sunrider Singapore and Sunrider Malaysia. During this period, the grand openings of ABO Stores in these countries took place, commemorated with ribbon-cutting ceremonies and celebration. Singapore had 13 store openings and Malaysia had 12, with another 51 stores opening soon.
After months of preparations, including searching for store locations, completing store renovations, and receiving final approval from the president of Sunrider International, Dr. Oi-Lin Chen, the ABO Stores were finally open and operational for excited and highly motivated Authorized Business Owners.
As part of the openings, Dr. Oi-Lin Chen hosted reporters from three of the major dailies in each country. She candidly described Sunrider’s history, which includes 27 years of success despite economic downturns over the years. She also explained Sunrider’s plans and strategies for the years ahead with the ABO program.
In Malaysia, a Product Fair featuring Fortune Delight®, VitaShake®, SunSmile® Fruit & Vegetable Rinse, Oi-Lin® Skin Care products, Lipsticks, Protective Foundation, and Color Cosmetics was held simultaneously with a press conference. The enthusiastic crowd at the Product Fair enjoyed experiencing the effectiveness of Sunrider® products in person.
After the press conference, the reporters were invited to join the crowd to witness ribbon-cutting ceremonies. The proud ABOs shared the limelight with the Sunrider founders as the openings were officiated. The ceremonies culminated in auspicious and lively lion dance performances that signified continued success, growth, and prosperity.
After a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Singapore, the ABOs and their guests proceeded to a meeting room where Dr. Oi-Lin Chen presented various new Flash media presentations designed to support ABOs at their Opportunity Meetings. As she went through the presentations, she noted with pride how nicely the stores were decorated. She has full confidence that every ABO has the potential to own five branch stores each!
She also announced that the company will actively and aggressively look into advertising and further product developments. She encouraged the ABOs to use their stores effectively as their main marketing tool in approaching, sharing, and signing up Potential ABOs.
In Malaysia, Dr. Chen took the stage for the Opportunity Meeting that the crowd had been eagerly anticipating. He shared with the attendees the importance of nourishing and cleansing based on his Philosophy of Regeneration™. Everyone listened attentively to his descriptions about Sunrider® products and their ingredients. He also explained why the products are so important for maintaining optimal health. It was truly a beneficial meeting for all.
All the ABOs who participated in the events were appreciative and excited that the company’s founders traveled so far to encourage and support them in their new business ventures with Sunrider!
