Sunrider Singapore Manufacturing Receives AVA Certificate of Commendation

Sunrider Singapore Manufacturing, Inc. once again earned the AVA (Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority) Certificate of Commendation for achieving Grade “A” License status for excellence in food hygiene, sanitation, and processing during the 2007–2008 period. The award was presented by the Minister for National Development, Mr. Mah Bow Tan, at the AVA Award Dinner, which was held at the Orchard Hotel on July 31, 2009.
The grading was based on the following criteria:
1. Factory cleanliness
2. Factory housekeeping
3. Food hygiene
4. Personal hygiene
5. Staff training
6. Performance record of the factory
Sunrider Singapore Manufacturing, Inc. has now received this Certificate of Commendation for the 10th consecutive year, making it also a “Silver Award” winner. The Silver Award trophy will be presented to Sunrider Singapore Manufacturing, Inc. at next year’s award ceremony.
This is an impressive record for Sunrider Singapore Manufacturing, Inc., which has invested heavily in its S$27-million (about US$18.8 million) facility. It boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including the biggest spray dry tower in Asia. The recognition from AVA is testimony to Sunrider's uncompromising commitment to manufacturing the best brand-name products under the highest standards of excellence.
