Sunrider Supports AMCHAM Event

Sunrider Korea was a proud sponsor of the 2009 AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce) Picnic, held September 19 at Misari Public Park in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. Started in 1954, this annual networking and social event is organized by AMCHAM and was attended by over 2,000 people, including VIPs from foreign embassies, CEOs, local citizens, and employees and their families from multinational and local companies operating in Korea.
Founded in 1953, AMCHAM’s mission includes encouraging the development of trade and commerce between Korea and the United States. To quote the organization’s president, “AMCHAM provides a bridge to help our members better understand this vibrant market.” Membership has grown to over 2,300 and includes over 1,000 member companies.
In support of the event, Sunrider Korea donated 1,300 tubes of Kandesn® Hand Cleansing Gel. This donation was in response to AMCHAM’s request for hand sanitizers, which are particularly in demand, as Korea is in midst of an H1N1 flu epidemic.
Though Sunrider is already well known to members of AMCHAM due to previous product donations and support of past AMCHAM events, this occasion was an especially good opportunity to increase Sunrider brand awareness and share the value and effectiveness of Sunrider® products.
As a “Good Will”-level sponsor, Sunrider’s logo was displayed on souvenirs, signage, and brochures.
