Sunrider received the “Best Company Chosen by Women Award” in the category of “Health Food & Natural Cosmetics,” on October 28, 2011, at a ceremony held at the Grand Hilton Hotel in Seoul, Korea. The event was hosted by Women’s Newspaper and sponsored by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family, the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Korean Women Employers Federation, and other prominent agencies and organizations.

The “Best Company Chosen by Women Award” was established in 1998 with the aim of “improving the lifestyle and social status of women in today’s society.” This special recognition is awarded annually to companies that dedicate themselves to improving the lives of women through providing products tailored for women and for contributions benefitting the environment, culture, and public welfare.

Surveys from women consumers, opinions from an advisory committee, and input from specialists from various fields were used as the basis to evaluate and select 24 companies representing this year’s “Best Company” in respective categories. Sunrider’s accomplishment in earning this award is testimony to how far the company has come in establishing its reputation as a global health and beauty brand. Winning alongside major conglomerates such as Samsung, Amore Pacific, Hankook China, Lotte Construction, and others paves the way for Sunrider to gain an even stronger brand presence in the years to come.
