Sunrider Takes the Stage
On February 15, 2014, Jonathan Beutler represented Sunrider International in “Dancing with the South Bay Stars,” a charitable event organized by the Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation and modeled after the original television program on the broadcast network ABC.

Following his cha-cha dance in front of an audience that filled the James Armstrong Theater in Torrance, California, Jonathan was awarded with the “Judge’s Favorite” trophy as the highest scoring male contestant. In addition to the Cultural Arts Foundation, Jonathan also danced to benefit Happy Hats for Kids, a nonprofit organization based in Torrance, California, dedicated to providing services to hospitalized children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Without having received prior dance training of any kind, Jonathan was assigned to dance with Ekaterina Fedosova, a professional competitive ballroom dancer and choreographer with extensive performance experience in Hollywood, New York, Miami, Europe, and Russia. Jonathan and Ekaterina trained together for five weeks, logging several hours each week in preparation for the competition. “This whole experience has been great because it’s something that is so far outside my comfort zone,” Jonathan said, "but I am happy that I did it—especially for such a great cause!”
